Job's Mission

As a Specialist, Purchasing, you will play a key role in ensuring the uninterrupted supply of direct materials that support ASM's manufacturing operations and customer commitments. Working closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams, you will proactively manage material availability, drive supplier performance, and help resolve supply challenges in a fast-paced semiconductor environment. Your expertise will contribute to a resilient and efficient supply chain, enabling ASM to deliver innovative technologies that power the future of semiconductor manufacturing. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
Japanese language proficiency (verbal and written) is required to support business communications and collaboration with Japanese-speaking customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Experience managing direct materials within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in SAP or a similar ERP system.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Effective analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
