Senior Engineer, Software Engineering (CSA)

Job's Mission

As part of ASM's Software Engineering team, you'll develop advanced control software that powers some of the world's most sophisticated semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Your work will directly support robotics, gas delivery systems, temperature control hardware, and factory automation, delivering real-time solutions that drive chip production. Based in Singapore, you'll collaborate with global engineering teams and play a key role in shaping the future of semiconductor automation and equipment connectivity. You will play a key role in advancing ASM's software engineering capabilities through the responsible adoption of AI-enabled development, helping teams accelerate problem resolution, improve software quality, and scale engineering excellence across global product platforms. What you will be working on Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Develop applications for Windows and real-time operating systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues within real-time control systems. Diagnose and resolve software, electrical, and mechanical system issues. Lead technical escalation e􀆯orts with field engineers and global customers. Partner with Quality Assurance and Support teams to investigate issues and improve regression test coverage.
