In this role, you will drive metrology recipe development, data analysis, equipment evaluation, qualification, and startup activities. You will also collaborate with equipment suppliers to develop and implement innovative metrology solutions that support Micron's cutting-edge memory technologies.Previous semiconductor industry experience is not required. Candidates with strong analytical and problem-solving skills gained through manufacturing or other technical environments are encouraged to apply. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with global engineering teams, contribute to world-class memory technology development, and build expertise in advanced semiconductor processes.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and qualify advanced metrology methodologies and measurement recipes for next-generation DRAM and HBM technologies.Analyze measurement data and lead problem-solving activities to improve metrology capability, accuracy, and process control.Evaluate, qualify, and deploy new metrology tools and measurement technologies.Lead metrology equipment development projects, including requirement definition, supplier engagement, tool development, startup, and implementation.Define process control strategies and establish monitoring plans for critical manufacturing processes.Utilize experimental and production data to support process optimization and yield improvement initiatives.Collaborate with Process Integration, Manufacturing, Yield Enhancement, Equipment Engineering, and other cross-functional teams.Drive technical reviews and development activities with metrology equipment suppliers.Support capital planning, equipment installation, startup, qualification, and validation activities.Leverage AI-driven tools and technologies to improve productivity, enhance decision-making, and optimize engineering workflows.Minimum

- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or other technical roles.

- Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
- Business-level Japanese communication skills (equivalent to JLPT N2 or above).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English within a global work environment.
- Experience using or a willingness to utilize AI tools (e.
